No one thinks about the morning-after until it’s too late. By then everything that sounds like the perfect remedy — greasy burgers, a bag of fries, a family-size pizza — will only make your recovery that much more painful.

The idea is to replenish the much-needed vitamins, minerals, and fluids you donated to the dance floor or porcelain gods in 4 relatively easy steps.
Shake it off.
The best place to start is with my RxStar Detox Shake. Using it as part of the detox leads to a cleaner liver, but it can also be used the day after binge drinking to help you restock your body with lost nutrients.
Also, the more hydrated you are, the more your symptoms will ease. Replenish with electrolyte replacements like coconut water and vegetable bouillon along with 8 to 10 glasses of water to flush toxins.
Don’t succumb to junk food or unhealthy delivery.
Instead, think about things that nourish and hydrate. I always have a few rockstar clients who want to know if leftover pizza counts as healthy because it’s got tomato sauce and herbs. Answer is no. Go for eat easy-to-digest foods like oatmeal, rice, and soup. Less exciting, but better on your bod.
Rethink your hair of the dog.
Don’t believe that hair of the dog myth, the one that says you can chase away a hangover with a bloody mary, an ice cold beer or a shot of tequila. The only shooters I’m advising after a bender are B-complex, Emergen-C (one to two packets daily), vitamin C (1,000 mg) and herbal remedies that support your worn-out liver, like dandelion tea (1 to 2 cups) or milk thistle (follow the bottle instructions).
Treat yourself to some TLC.
No matter how crazy you acted the night before, give yourself a little love today. Get at least 8 to 10 hours of sleep and hit your sauna, steam, or gym to help you sweat out the toxins. And if you can get to your acupuncturist, which I suggest, ask for add-on acupuncture points: ST 36, LI 4, ST 44, LV3, and PC 6
